All by Myself is one of the great pop songs based on a classical composition. The work was created in 1901 from the 2nd movement of Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2. The pianist and singer Eric Carmen then wrote and sang the song All by Myself from it in 1975. I have changed a few passages to make it playable for most piano players, but you really have to practise here.
It is certainly not intended to compete with the original, but who knows how Sergei Wassiljewitsch Rachmaninow would play his pieces today?
