The Adagio BWV 974 by J.S. Bach/Marcello has one of the most moving themes I have heard from the genius of Bach.

This theme radiates such calm, is at the same time so simple and compelling that it touches your heart every time.
Some parts are not so easy to play, also the rhythm has its pitfalls but I tried to make a version that is doable for all players. I wish you the same joy that I have every time I play.

That’s very nice to hear! If a song is simple enough that even beginners can play it, then it can be played by many people and reach an even wider target group.
It is a special talent to write a song that is not only emotionally moving, but also accessible to many people. I hope that my piano song will bring joy to many people and inspire them to make music themselves.
